Dr Dan Parker

Dan is a designer striving to create thriving ecosystems. His work develops innovative design approaches to support coexistence between human and nonhuman inhabitants of urban environments. He has led habitat-creation projects for birds, mammals, and insects in Italy, Australia, and England. Dan holds a Bachelor of Environments, Master of Architecture, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne. He earned a Diploma in Modern Languages (Italian) from the University of New England, and now studies a Postgraduate Certificate in Ecological Survey Techniques at the University of Oxford. Specialising in computer-aided design, Dan has taught several design subjects, worked in architectural practice, and held positions in digital fabrication labs.
